Missions

The great commission in Mark 16:15 commands us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Many missionaries have recieved the calling to travel to remote parts of th world to spread the Gospel of Christ. Many of us, however, are unable to do so or are not called into the mission fields abroad. However, this doesn't mean we cannot help fullfill this great commission. We can support those who are able to go with prayer and financial help.

We at Cornerstone take seriously our responsibility of seeing the gospel preached all over the world. This is why we actively support many missionaries over seas. Each year we have a missions banquet where we eat ethnic dishes, fellowship, and commit to financially support missionary families abroad. It's a fabulous celebration that knits our hearts together and reminds us of the important role we play in seeing Christ's love spread throught the nations.
