Lighthouse Youth Group

The Lighthouse Youth Group of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship is a ministry that reaches out toe teens between the ages of 12 and 19 through fun activities, loving relationships, and weekly meetings.

Our vision is to help, prepare, and train our youth to become effective, Christ-like, and spiritually mature Christians so they may be able to withstand their flesh, the persuasions of the world, and the devil's schemes for now and the rest of their life. This is in place so that we, as a youth group, can strive for a common goal in our relationships with each other as well as Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

For development of their personal walk with God, the youth group meets most Sunday evenings at the church from 6-8 PM for a time of worship, scriptural encouragement, games, and sometimes snacks.

We also take regular trips, including youth conferences in Harrisburg and youth retreats at Camp Pinnacle. We also do some activities just for fellowship and fun, such as lock-ins, day trips to a Sports Emporium (go-carts, arcade games, laser-tag, etc.), Christmas & New Year's parties, super bowl parties, and game nights.

We encourage our youth to think about others and reach out to them. At Christmas, we made cards for the elderly and delivered them to the Davis Nursing home while singing Christmas carols to them. We also participate in the 30 Hour Famine, where students raise money for starving children by not eating for thirty hours and gathering donations.

We also do fundraisers such as youth auctions, spaghetti dinners, golf tournaments, and car washes.
